Welcome,

and thank you for wanting to register with FairTradeNet.

Please enter, make yourself comfortable and become familiar with the tool that will help you to market yourself, to manage your projects and to bill your clients.

This is the Registration Form for freelancers. In the interest of maintaining control over quality, FairTradeNet will only do business with individuals registered and approved on its database. Do not proceed if you are working for or owning an agency. We work only with people who do the work, not those who outsource. Translators pooling their marketing efforts and advertising their services on a common Website must all be mentioned as partners and should register with FTN.

Please provide as much information as possible. By submitting this form, you accept that we will retain your details for one year in our freelance database. Your details will not be passed on to any third parties.

Trust is an imperative part of our operational ethos. Please understand that if you are unable to provide evidence to backup any information provided, you may be excluded from our Fair Trade Network.

We only consider serious applications. Please take your time.

The application is split into six online pages as follows:

• Motivation to join FTN

IMPORTANT: Your profile will be deleted if

• your application does not contain complete information;
• the answer to professional questions is unsatisfactory;
• we can't detect a valid motivation for joining and are not convinced that you will adhere to our goals;
• you refuse to indicate your minimum rate, or mention rates below FTN standard.

We must be consistent in our approach: If you decide to go ahead and register with FairTradeNet, you will delete all references to rates, if they are lower than the FTN minimum rates, on commercial Websites. Your presence on other Websites is periodically checked. Any references to lower rates will lead to the deletion of your FTN profile, without warning.
